How do I become a member?
New members are welcome between the ages of 6 and 14. Once enrolled, members can renew each year until they graduate from high school. Annual membership is $7.50 per member. To register or ask questions, call (919) 351-1559.

What events does the Club host?
Boys & Girls Clubs of Johnston County host two community events each year that raise support for local afterschool programs.
Circle of Champions Breakfast
March 11, 2027
The annual Circle of Champions Breakfast is a morning of inspiration and community that supports Club programs and features keynote speaker Mike Glennon. Proceeds help provide safe, opportunity-rich spaces for youth across Johnston County.

Railroad Days 5K
Started in 1976, the Railroad Days 5K is the oldest 5K in North Carolina. Held as part of Selma's Railroad Days Festival, the race runs a fast course through downtown Selma, followed by a Caboose Run for kids. All proceeds benefit after-school education programs in Selma and Smithfield.
